It should be taken in the morning with food to avoid frequent urination at night. This medicine may cause dehydration, so it is better to take plenty of fluids. Inform doctor if you develop extreme thirst or muscle weakness. Some patients may develop swelling of ankle as a side effect of using this medicine. It may also produce dizziness initially, but this improves with time.

How Ctjoy-Trio Tablet Works
CTJOY-TRIO Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Telmisartan, cilnidipine and Chlorthalidone. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.
